The rear grapple has 2 quick disconnect hydraulic lines to my m105 Kubota. It’s been on for a while and I can only get one off. I’ve waited 3 days and still can’t get the other one to release. Any tips on how to remove it?
normally you 'cycle' the valve a few times, with engine OFF, to release the pressure buildup, preferably leaving the 'item' in mid position(not fully open or closed)
I tried this and I can’t get either line off. If I unfastened the lines at the grapple end would this relieve the pressure and maybe allow me to disconnect at tractor end? Thanks for your help guys.
with tractor not running, crack open the line on the offending connection (typically at the line to fitting connection) to relieve the pressure. See if that will enable to disconnect the fitting.
Caution- wear gloves/glasses while doing so, or cover the connection and wrenches with a rag before you break it loose.
