Hi Guys. I recently purchased a L 1501 or l185 equivalent?

The tractor seems to have two separate hi low selectors. One is on top of the transmission beside the stick shift.

The other one is on the left hand side either on the rear side of the trans or at the very start of the rear diff. Both levers seem to be doing the same thing.

Can someone tell me whats with the two different levers? Are they in fact both the same as far as being hi-low range? This kind of has me wishing I had an operators manual for this tractor.

For now, hopefully someone will be kind enough to fill me in. Thanks a bunch!:D

You've heard of "granny gear"? Your's has an extra granny gear. If you put both of those selectors in low, you can actually get off the tractor, go take bathroom break and come back and the tractor has only moved 5 ft. It's called a creeper gear. Used for very slow tilling.

As mentioned by ipz2222 it gets you into a "creeper gear"
Slow is an understatement.
A inch an hour, 2 feet a day.

As an example I tilled a 200 yard stretch in bull low.
45 minutes from A to B.
