Hi everyone. I just want to explain why I will be doing more reading here than asking or posting over the next several months. I shall still be here but thanks to everyone who has replied to my questions I think I have a handle on where to begin refurbing my 1980ish L185F come March when I bring it home. I fear though the kind folks here may see my lack of activity and contributions to conversations as indicating I was a "flash in the pan" new member. But that's not the situation.
As cash permits in the next 4 months, I will be gathering a few parts, planning the sequences of operation and the like. I have nowhere to store my tractor and implements this winter here at my suburban home, and think my tractor is best off in the open ended old horse barn where it now sets on my father-in-laws 8 acre tract next county over.
In the meantime I will have to settle for planning. Deciding what implements to sell off (I have a 4 foot Bush Hog, Caronni(spelling?) 5 foot finish mower, 5 foot grader blade and a heavy duty steel two wheeled cart. I'd like to paint the cart to match my Kubota's colors just because. May keep the bush hog so if ever asked I can cut some of the empty lots in the several new construction subdivisions close by. Just don't know right now but I have time to ponder.
Thanks as always. Don.
