I have a 1988 B2400 that I'm going to sell. The main problem is that it's overheating. It is most likely the head gasket or cracked block. Obviously a big difference in problems but I'm done diagnosing. The throttle linkage is also broke and it's stuck on full throttle. It starts, runs and all hydraulics work. It's 4wd with a FEL. Also has a 5' back blade and 60" belly mower. What's a good opening asking point?

I'd give you about $2500 Max for it.
There is a lot of risk in buying a tractor in such condition.

Well it sold for $3500 on Facebook in 6 hours. I listed it at that price and was just hoping to get $3000. I had 3-4 people try to come get it the first day I listed it.

The loader alone is more than half of that. I got about the same for an even older B7200DT with just a loader. It was rough, leaked transmission oil like a sieve, needed brakes and a new steering box, but ran OK. It sold here in ~2 days.
