I am curious as to the original selling price of an l175. Mine has a johnson loader.

My L185DT was about $4000 back in about '78. The loader was another $2000, plus $2000 for the backhoe. Total - easy math - was something over $8000. I still have and use the backhoe.

It boggles my mind how a Ford 8N has gone UP in value over the years. It originally sold for $1,400 in 1952, fast forward to present day you can still but them up all day long for $1,400 in rough shape but runs or get one fully restored for $3000

$1.00 in 1952 had the same buying power as $8.66 in 2013.

$8.66 X $1400= $12,114 in today's money.

Inflation is just crazy, where does it stop?
