I know its been covered a lot of how to chain down the tractor. And that the loader bucket should have at least a strap over it.
But.......
...I'm not trying to rock the boat. Theres been a few photos of some backhoes traveling in the air. Is it allowed? Obviously the travel/lock pin would be used.
If a can leave the hoe up and locked, I could load it forward. It would make things easier.
From what I can tell it depends on weight. It's not required below 10k lbs. Sort of like the number of tie down points required. There's a lot of debate on this because there are three different guidelines. Below 10k you can secure it like a vehicle, every 10 feet or like heavy equipment. The last method states the attachments have to be secured. I'm writing this from memory, so verify.

Here is my new to me bx2200 on my new to me 6.5x12 trailer and new to me 2002 tacoma.

Had the truck about 2 months, trailer about a month and the bx 3 days..

Drove around the neighborhood kept it under 50 just to see how it does.. slow.. stopping is not great but ok.. bought the truck and trailer for local buying of small stuff like riding lawnmowers or generators etc as I sold my 2018 tundra for almost what I paid for it, warranty was about up on the truck

First time loading up. I saw after taking the pic that I have to curl the hoe bucket a bit more to get it flat.

This is an 18' trailer. B2601 TLB.

Nice setup! Is it a 7k or 10k GVW for your trailer? And how's the tongue weight with the TLB in facing forward? I find the load balances just right, with some wiggle room even, if the tractor faces backward on my setup - a B2650 with backhoe and loader attached, on my 18' PJ 7k car hauler. I also find backing UP the ramps backwards WAY more "comfortable" than backing DOWN the ramps. Feels safer, just me maybe.

10K GVW

Tounge weight seemed fine. Might try it backing on the trailer just to compare next time, but the truck handled the load perfectly this way.

Do you have electric brakes on the trailer? And some type of brake controller?

You may be able to add them to the existing trailer axle. Etrailor.com is a good source of information and parts.

Nope.. did not do to bad.. for no traffic driving.. wouldn't want to tow that on major streets tho.. thats not a long term vehicle...bought it till toyota comes out with a diesel.. or I find a way to get a right hand drive tacoma diesel imported, or slap a kubota turbo diesel in a tacoma?

Going home from work last night, saw a very shiny black Super Duty Crew drawing a very shiny black enclosed trailer.

Nice looking outfit headed down the road.....

Not my tractor but a Mini Ex I rented for the weekend. I figure my tractor will be a little lighter in the trailer.

Haven't had any of my tractors on this truck and trailer yet, but here's my RTV on it.

Not the trailer I wanted, but with everyone on covid vacation there is nothing in stock in my area.
Luckily my Kubota dealer had 4 or 5 of these in stock so I grabbed it when I picked the RTV up.

I wanted an 18 foot with no sides, but had to settle for a 16 foot with sides.

Hey, can you bring the grapple over - sure!

How about the Auger with the 9 and 12" bit - yeah, no problem

And I would like to get the pasture planted so can you bring the harrow and the spreader - sure.

Actually, now that I think of it, we should get those stumps while you're here, can you bring the stump grinder tooo? Ummmm, I think so........

Plenty of room.

Had a 20’ landscape trailer, but then got a deal on this 6x12 dump trailer. Obviously fit and distribution was much better on the 20’, but can’t beat a dump trailer!
