But have you ever looked down the barrel of your own fire arm, without the bolt open and knowing it was unloaded?

I have looked down the barrel .......with the BARREL not in the gun;):p......

but NOPE, I aint never looked while IN the gun! I get nervous when the UNloaded gun is laying on the table and barrel pointed at something!!

A gun's nothing to be afraid of especially when unloaded. The photo implies she's none too sharp since the action is shut but then again perhaps she is the one person that knows its unloaded? Is it us making presumptions?

I understand what you're saying, but how many people thought the gun was unloaded & shot themselves or someone else?
I don't fear guns, but I do respect them.

P.S.- I was nearby when a guy took his own eye out with a paintball gun doing exactly what the girl in the photo was doing. He knew it was out of CO2, but he didn't realize his buddy had reloaded the gun.
