The seat 67111-37320 was also used in the hydraulic block and control valve of quite a few other models (22).

#180 is a snap ring, fits in the spool slot.

I don't see a #170?
Are you actually talking about #190,
that ring will be behind #180 on the spool valve.

Messicks doesn't have the seat. Nor does German Bliss.. I'm on a scavenger hunt!
yes sorry 190... feel the diagram is misleading and does not appear in order. You're telling me that 180 snaps onto the spool and 190 is somewhere behind it inside the bore. 190 to me looks like spring AND washer - I didn't see any type of washer when I removed the spool. Only a spring.

Was considering that. peek plastics come to mind.
I’m not missing anything am I. I look up the bore and this is what I see. I don’t think that’s the seat because it doesn’t move at all.
It would not surprise me if it was the seat. I was surprised when you said it was missing.

That looks like the seat to me, and the seat shouldn't move.

You really should have just pulled it off and put it on a bench where you could see and get to everything.
But I think you already found your issue, the first parts you found that were loose would have fouled up the works big time.

looking at the diagram you'd think it was a part that would come right out..
Nope #270 holds it inplace, and if you look very closely #270 is staked in place in the valve body, so it's not coming out.

My 2¢.
Yes that is 270 Collar staked in, it holds the 240 Seat in. You can see the seat, it's the part with the small hole.

180, 190 and 200 go on the spool, nothing to do with check valve. 200 appears to be a nut and the end of the spool is threaded. There appears to be a spring on the spool, but I don't see it called out separately. 190 is called a Spring Holder. I suspect the purpose of these parts is to pull the spool toward that end of its bore.

An update guys. I put everything back together and the fix appears to be a success. I tightened plug #2 and adjusted out the jam nuts a bit on the push rod. I also shimmed the relief valve (there were zero shims in there when I disassembled/unless it was ground down to nothing) The 3ph operates as it should and was able to hold my body weight with out falling (which it wouldn't do before). The arms also stayed raised after I shut the tractor off.

The dead play in the handle appears to be gone. However the pull on the handle seems too light. WSM says 1.1lbs to 7.7. I need to put a spring scale on it to see exactly where its at. I already have the the nut tightened down pretty good. May have to re-inspect the spring pin and spring washers.

Besides that there are some fine adjustments that may still need to be made. Specifically the feedback link. I'll get it out in the coming days and put some real weight on and see how it goes.

Thanks to everyone for the advise and council. I look forward to future collaboration!

And by the way - that relief is a cylinder safety device that protects against three point shock loads. . It does not set/limit system hydraulic pressure and does not need shimming. The system relief is in the hydraulic outlet block below the pump.
