OK I just picked up the Silverado from the body shop,( GM dealer) and I figured I could talk them out of a small bottle of paint for chips and stuff,,, The Shop foreman said that they use a water based paint and spray a clear coat over it. So if he gave me some paint it would just wash away if I didnt clear it.. So is this guy tellin the truth or just jacken me off cause he didnt want to spring for some touch up paint?
