Hello all,

I have paper copies of the operator's manual and the service manual for the RCB60-I and RCB60-IA(E) rotary belly mowers. These include the FP82-A PTO assembly.

When I get a good clean copy of a manual, I scan and store it in electronic format (usually PDF) so that I can print disposable paper copies for use outside. This also allows sharing with other forum members.

I do not see any copyright warnings or restrictions on these Kubota manuals. Are we allowed to post materials like these on OTT for others to reference?

thanks,
Doug

First check on Kubotabooks.com and see if the manuals are not already available.

If not offer them to Kubotabooks.com and they will worry about copyright.

Any published stuff is assumed to be copyrighted but if anyone will care is another question.

FYI all Kubota pdf manuals are locked!

ALL Kubota manuals are copyrighted, but who's to stop you if you wanna share a manual with friends for free. ;)

Well, that's the trick, isn't it, when materials *are* clearly marked as copy protected. And people's opinions on this matter on the forums over at Yesterday's Tractors really range all over the place. Some folks say don't even consider it, others say any written materials that old are pretty much public domain.

Thing is, these Kubota manuals show they were printed in Japan, and really don't show any restrictions as to redistribution. But I don't want to cause problems on this list. Thanks for the responses.

thanks,
Doug
