Oil Pressure Light

Hi Folks,

I have a B7100 HST. Oil pressure light will not come on at all. When I test it at the light socket with a new bulb and the key on its showing me 12v but the light will not light up. Am I missing something. I have a new sending unit for the block. haven't put it in yet, just find it weird that there is voltage there and light will not light up.. Thanks

I know this sounds crazy....check the NEW bulb - throw 12 volts at it via straight battey.....light?

When you place the new sending unit in, it must make a good ground to the block too!

The sending unit could provide the ground for the light. Always 12v to the light but will only come on when grounded.
