Hello, Seems like a great forum.

I have a Kubota mx5100 with a FEL but no rear remotes.
Can I remove the FEL and use my hydraulics and joystick to run a cylinder???

I found a corn planter, pull type without a cylinder and I am told I need a:

"9 inch double stroke hydraulic cylinder and hoses"

I would like rear remotes, but I believe they are around $900 installed.

Thanks WNY

I'm in the same boat as you with a piece of equipment I just bought. You can do it but i'm told by my local dealer the loader valve isn't designed to run a piece of equipment in that way. I wont hijack your thread with my question, i'll post mine and you may see a response how you could do yours.

Already having a loader makes it a simple task to add rear remotes. All the hard work has already been done for you. You already have a working hyd system and all you need to do is rob the fluid supply from the loader and rout it thru a remote valve the then go back to the loader. Come off the valve with the lines to the rear and mount your couplers. Did this to my L 3000 and it works like a champ. Cost about $300 and took a few hours to do everything.
