I am a new owner of an older M8580 4wd. I want to get an attachment for the front end that accepts regular forks and a hay spear. The front end loader is a quick disconnect model. Just not sure where I should look and what this attachment is called. Thanks for any help.

Please clarify your desire.

Is the entire loader frame a quick disconnect from the tractor or does the loader have a quick disconnect type bucket?

If the bucket alone can be removed through its flip-lever or other type quick disconnect then you need a set of matching-type pallet forks and spear. If forks a set of new with tapered forged tines for Kubota skid-loader quick connect runs $550 for 48-in forks locally.

It may be you're looking for an adapter that will install in place of your bucket and provide q quick-connect faceplate looking forward. The adapter would pin on in place of your bucket but be aware this will probably move your front pivot point forward a few inches and reduce your breakout and lift capacity from the bucket alone. Look around the web for >>Kubota front loader quick connect adapter<< and you'll find many vendors.

Please advise back to the forum what you find and how you proceed so that we may all learn. Good luck.

Sorry, yes I have a quick disconnect bucket, and I want an adapter that will accomodate forks or a hay spear. Do they make one adapter that will accomodate both?
