Good morning! My husband just bought me a used L4150 that is in need of a seatbelt. We are trying to locate the serial number to order one and were told it is on the left front axle. The number we found is L4150DT, which I know is the model, and the remaining numbers/letters are as follows:
KT1
DU
7X258
Can anyone decipher if this is in fact the serial number? If not, where might we find it? There are two metal plates in front of the seat, but they are both faded out. Thank you!

If you are going to use a seatbelt be sure the tractor has a ROPS. That stands for "roll over protection structure", and it the metal framework that is mounted to the rear tractor axle housing area and goes up behind the seat and into the air to protect the operator in case of a roll over accident.

DO NOT USE SEATBELT IF THERE IS NO ROPS.

Here is the location of the serial number plate. Some models have the serial # stamped into the lower right side of the transmission housing. I am not sure about this model.

Thank you for all of your replies! The tractor does have ROPS, so we will be looking for a seatbelt for sure!
