I've been wanting a Kubota for awhile now and just came across a 1990 BF550 with loader and tiller. It is in desperate need of some TLC but starts and runs well. It has 1800 hours on it...should that be a concern? Also, having a bit of trouble finding info on the BF550. Anybody have experience with this tractor? Oh, and the asking price is $3500. Reasonable?

Well...I guess I'd better go check it out and get better info. I didn't see any other tags or plates on it. Where would I find that information? Thanks for any help.

there is going to be an ID badge somewhere on the chassis or frame. Every model could be in a different place. Dig a little, wipe some old grease/oil off and do some digging ! :D

Take a picture of the tractor and post it, these eagle eye guys will have it ID'd so fast it will make your head spin.;)

Thanks for that info. I did a little internet photo comparing and figured out that's its a 1990 L2850. It is the 4WD version. I will go scrape the crud off tomorrow and get the tag info just to be sure.
