OH YEAH,,,, I find that if I start the BX up go back in and have a cup of coffee or 2 and some toast maybe 10 min, she runs soft as silk,, if you can compare a diesel to silk,, being that cold, it takes a bit longer to warm up all that oil and idling her wont do a thing but make it work smother:D

It was -13 here and although my BX25 was hard to start, coughed and farted a couple of times it did start. I wanted it to warm up so I let it idle for about 15 minutes then went out and it had stopped...Hmmmm

I tried to start it again and it attempts to run, very ragged, then stalls. Its never done this before but then again its never seen -13 temps either. The tractor lives in an enclosure so it is somewhat protected.

I have only 85 hours on it and bought it new so I'm a bit lost why this is happening...

I'll post here but I thin I'll start its own thread..

Have you added any anti-gel conditioner to your fuel?

Mine farted around too - hard to start, rather hard to turn over, it DID start and run - but talked dirty to me as it warmed up ........

I went out and bought some antigel and winter treatment, the fuel I have in it now was left over from the summer, so I know that aint real good....but I have not ran it much since. I need to run out and get more diesel too!

You sound like it has some water/gel problems, go get cha a bottle of that good stuff and see if that will fix her. We have had 7 days of snow and I am already looking for spring, I would hate to be up in the new england states........that is just damn awful! They got more snow that we get in 10 years!
