Need $ value of 6' Box Scraper and 6" rear blade

Box Scraper is a very good, used 72" Woods brand with adjustable scarifiers. Light surface rust and paint fade only. approx. 540 pounds

3 pt Rear blade is possibly a King Kutter brand in good condition but some rust from age and weather exposure. No damage and 72" cutting edge is in excellent shape and hasn't been reversed. adjustable for 5 forward and 3 reverse positions with pin position.

Any help establishing value is appreciated.

No asking price yet. My neighbor just mentioned that he would consider selling it. Said it was 500 when he bought it and sells for just over $1000 new currently. I think it's a GB72 woods.
The rear blade is mine and I'm thinking of selling it if I buy the box.

Well I bought the box scraper, a GB72 with adjustable scarifier teeth. It's in great condition for $500. New lists for around 11k and I found some on the Internet for around 900 but I would have to drive a ways to get one. Found a used one for 650 so I think I got a pretty good deal.
I will probably hang on to the rear blade for now. Maybe sell it if I don't use it at all but the box blade works so much better on dirt and driveway rock.

I just sold mine on craigslist - 6' blade, very good shape, heavy duty - sold for $220 - I was asking $250, shoot I bought it for $125 so I wasn't trying to make a killing

Why am I never around when those deals are available?

Did you have any of the typical craigslist bottom feeders offering you $40 for it? I'm convinced the only way to sell something on craigslist is to offer it at a bargain price so that some educated buyer snaps it up before the bottom feeders and tire kickers have a chance to offer you 10% of your asking price.

I think my price was on the low side, seems that once you move to 7' prices goes way up! Also, where you are located drives the price. I have been on the ford tractor 8n board for the last several years, seems prices are alway lower in the mid west, higher near the coast!?!?

I had one guy that wanted to know lowest price I'd go.....ignored him. I have 50 some transactions on CL, 95 have been great, one old lady tried to hand me a check for my car......when I told her I would drive to her bank with her to cash it, story was changed and she split!
