What is this tire going on that you need 10ply in a 7.0-16?

The tire on the tractor now is a 7.0-16 10 ply tire. I have a front end loader on the tractor.
On my L275, the front has 7.0-16 from the factory. 4ply tires is what came on it. When I replaced them I put 6ply on because of the FEL and that made an enormous difference. For me, 10 ply would be extreme over kill.

What type of tractor and model number do you have? What is the factory recommended tire size/ply? front or rear? The more info you provide the better info people on the forum can give you.

10 ply might be on there now but could have just been what was available/cheep at the time they were put on.

Do you remember, these things;
What brand name is the tire that is on it now?
What model is the tractor?
Does it have an AG tread, Industrial thread, or other?

The tractor is a L3001 4 WHL drive tractor. I believe that these are the factory tires for the front. (7.0-16 10 ply tire rating) I have replaced one front tire earlier. I got a G-1 and it was a 6 or 8 ply rating tire.

Titan lists one in 10 ply. Here is a link. If you notice you can search by size and other ways to find tires. Titan actually makes Goodyear ag tires. Search for Titan dealer in your area. Titan tires come out of Iowa and Illinois. Good luck
