Admittedly I haven't had the opportunity to use my tractor very much and have not worked out all the details yet. I do think the use of spacers for the Cat 2 3 point hitch is sort of a pain and all my 3pt implements are Cat 1. It occurred to me that I could turn the top link around and use the Cat2 and spacer to connect to the tractor and then connect the Cat 1 end of the top link of my implements. I'm 7 hours away from my tractor and haven't been able to test this out. Does anyone else do this?

My L5030 is a CAT 1/2 3pt hitch ...

My top link is CAT 1, my lower arms are CAT 2 ... I used "bushings" in the lower arms to hook up my CAT 1 QH, and ended up using a CAT 2 upper hydraulic top link to get the length I needed, so, again used" bushings" to make it fit the CAT 1 pins ...

Now I can use my current CAT 1 attachments!

I have replaced the pins on several of my Cat 1 implements with Cat 2 pins. They aren’t too expensive and are sold at TSC. Using a spacer on the top link isn’t too hard.

I use longer / shouldered pins and I have also modified some of my implements for the most part.

Sort of depends on your collection of implements and whether or not they have the same XYZ pitches whether or not QH solves your problem or need pins/bushings…

bushings are really the cheapest solution I think. I modified some of mine for convenience to be compatible with my QH.

Pretty much all my implements I use on my MX6000 are Cat one. I changed the pins on the ones I could and the ones I couldn't with out cutting and welding news in I use bushings. I bought a new top link when the tractor was new, with Cat one both ends. The factory top link hangs in the shed.

Yep, that's what I use for the majority of implements. I thing the Del Morino flail might be the only implement I use on the MX that's not QH compatible. Hard to beat a QH with top-n-tilt.
