I am shopping and looking at the MX5400. I absolutely do not like the joystick location on the open station. Has anybody changed the joystick on the open station to a joystick used in the cab model?

The joystick on my open station seems well placed to me and I don’t see an issue. What seems to be the problem ?

Maybe he's left handed! :ROFLMAO:

Seriously, I liked the joystick on the MX6000 open station, and I prefer the joystick in the cabbed MX6000 more than the one in my M6060.

The joystick I have seen on the open station is mounted in front of and to the right of the steering wheel, on the loader frame. I come from a world of construction equipment that has the joystick near the end of the arm rest so a person isnt required to reach for the joystick. The MX5400 cab joystick is mounted to the inside of the right fender, in a vertical position. The right forearm is resting on the armrest and the right hand is resting on the joystick handle.....much better.

I guess I don’t know any better. It is positioned 0K for me. And most open station tractors I have used position the joystick in the same location.

It's an option that's with the loader (LA1065A), not the tractor.

You would order MX2132
Go though sales, and whole goods for it.

It'll be interesting to see how this turns out in terms of cost, function and aesthetics.
