Good afternoon,
I have an mx5200, it has a common rail v2403 engine, an I'm at a loss with, Last winter I went out used the tractor all was good, a customer pulled up we talked for a few minutes, and it would hit a lick a snake, Just spin over so I called the Kubota dealership in town the sent a guy out and he installed a suction control valve. And he messed around with it for a little while and before you know it he had the same look on his face that I had. so I load it up and haul it to the dealership and (this tractor has 315 hours on it) and they call me back saying the injectors, need to be sent off and flow tested or whatever and it needs a computer. Ok that and then they call me back saying all the injectors tested good that it could need up to $15000 worth the repairs done to it. So I said hello what would you give me to just trade it in on a brand new unit, and they said they were not interested in it at all. And now I'm really not welcomee there. I got my tractor back in pieces with a $1500 bill. I been studying this common rail system with the limited information that's available, Bought a python communication hardware and have a version of diagmaster that works. And my question is does anyone have experience with this system. I'm not getting any fuel out of the injection pump at all nothing. I'm getting the fuel from the lift pump to next fuel pump and it gives the High pressure pump 70-77psi of pressure On the returnside of thehigh pressure pump I get fuel coming out but nothing to the common rail. I have no problem buying ahigh pressure pump, or a suction control valve, I'm just wonderingif something is shuting the fuel off. Like for instance when I read live data it shows the throttle at zero percent no matter where the throttle is. But if I take. A multimeter it reads like it should or like a car tps does( I'm a automotive mechanic)watching live data it shows around 80miliamps on the scv. Everything that have looked at as far as I can tell on live data looks good. no codes whatsoever now. I mean to put earlier the scv that the dealer dude that come out it was a used one. I would be grateful for any help.
Thanks ahead of time

I meant to add it had a p0606 code so I replaced the ecm, in the beginning it had a code for low fuel pressure. But now no codes. Thanks

possible rail pressure sensor failing, especially if it had a DTC set for rail pressure:high. You didn't mention that but I've seen that happen, and felt it worthwhile to mention it.

May very well have a failing SCV.

From what I see in wsm. And I'm struggling to wrap my head around the fuel delivery system, if I unplug the scv and say the scv is not stuck or in wrong position, shouldn't the high pressure pump be putting something out to common rail when cranking it over? In other words..no current should deliver fuel? Thanks!

Did you get your tractor figured out? I had the same thing. It's been sitting for a long time now just figured I'd figure something out eventually.
