Does anyone have any knowledge about the Woods BB720X and it's compatibility with the MX5100?

I have a new tractor and would like to consider this rotary cutter and the dealer is saying that it is too much mower?

Generally the mower specs show the horse power needed. Then, your tractor specs will show the HP that the PTO can put out, probably at full 540 rpm.

Thank you for responding.

I suspect that he is more concerned with the weight of the deck than the horsepower rating. The horsepower rating is within the recommended spec.

No the dealer was worried about HP to run the mower.
Your MX5100 is somewhere between 44 and 42.5 HP in the best of situations, so real world it's less.
While woods is saying 30hp to 120hp your really in the 60+ range with that mower is a better range of HP needed.
Your three point can pick up 2866lbs @ 0" and 2310 @ 24", so you could pick up almost 2 of them weight wise without a problem! ;)

Look at the BB72X
