Looking for a SSA bucket that is lightweight < 300lbs or so. Maybe 1 yard. Only want to move grass clippings and mulch. Too many trips back and forth with the LA534 (60" bucket) which I think is 1/3 yds (heaped)

Thanks.

Adding the piranha bar enabled me to heap some bigger buckets, it extends out about another 4 inches.

I have seen many large skid-steer buckets for this but they tend to all be heavy (500+ lbs).

You could fab up some extensions to a standard bucket. If you used expanded metal for it you could save on some weight and still have visibility.

Time for pallet forks. Plywood bottom or build box. Saw post where fence section was used for bottom & back for "leaf bucket". Anything too big/awkward for bucket good canidate for forks

Check with some dealers and see if they have any used buckets that are larger. If you are only using it to move light, bulky material, then a used one with some wear or dings will not make any difference. With the SSQA hitch, you’re options are endless. Does not have to be a Kubota brand to fit the SSQA coupler. A lot of times, after market brands are cheaper.

I have pallet forks. 42" by Artillian. Would need to build something out of wood that would not slide off when dumpling though.

Used skid steer bucket may be something to look at. Of to Craigslist I go.

I will post my solution, if and when I have one.

Thanks.

I had a piece of galvanized bent for extending the bucket for mulch when I had a B7500. When the tractor was sold, they didn't want the extension. This picture is of that extension sitting in the bucket of the L3200 just to show the scale and position to someone who was interested in it. I can't recall what the metal gauge was but the front edge of it would support the B7500 with the front wheels off the ground.
