I cant decide if the cutting edge is missing or someone welded an old grader blade to the bucket. Can you tell? Anyway the next couple months i think i will put a new edge on it.

Thats a bucket cutting edge. I bolted one to a bucket,as the alternative was quite expensive. Usually the bolt holes are used. This way the cutting edge can be flipped around.
Knowing what i know now?get a pirhana tooth bolt on cutting edge.

Looks like someone used the cutting edge off of the county maintainer. If it does what you want to do with you loader, leave it on there. It will outlast your life on that machine!

Thats what i was thinking too. Its very worn on the sides. Getting pretty thin. It works ok but could be better. Found a replacement for $100. Thinking of torching it off and welding on the new one. With as much as i use it, it should outlast me. I think the previous owner scrapped concrete often. I have no concrete to scrap

Check the new edge, if it's AR (abrasion resistant) steel your going to have to preheat it to even weld it on. ;)
