Mid-mount mower RCK48-15BX on BX25?

Thanks for all the great posts when I was researching my BX 25 purchase. Finally got a chance to register and have a question.

I have a new BX25 and looking for a mid-mount belly mower. A local person offered me a RCK48-15BX from a 2005 BX15.

Will the this mower deck bolt up and work on my BX25?

I'd suggest contacting a dealer. My guess is that it will fit, assum9ng the frames and gears are the same on all BX's. I have a BX1860 (the smallest one made) and the mower under it is RCK-54-23BX. I am assuming it will also fit a BX2360.

Why not look for a wider mower, since you have plenty of power for that?

Get a rear mount finishing mower! It's soooo much nicer to hook and unhook when you don'd need it. Plus you can get one thats rear discharge.

Chances are a mid mower from a 2005 tractor won't fit on to one built in 2013. You may have to do some modifications to get it to work.
