If you've never used an HVLP sprayer you don't know what you are missing out on.
That makes me feel old.

It seems I remember when HVLP guns were "gaining popularity" back in the 90's when I was painting aircraft.

They were "the sh!t" to have and were going for stupid money....Like $700+, so I never got to spray with one.

Now I see them on the HF shelf for 25 bucks.

For some of you guys bragging how old your are...... ;) ;)

One elderly man said to another, “I’m so old that my blood type has been discontinued.” The other replied, “Yes, but you can’t let aging get you down. It’s too hard to get back up!”

Yea the old men I occasionally have coffee with like to brag to try and make others feel inferior. One morning last week the subject was about constipation, difficulty urinating and having to get up several times throughout the night. Seemed most all suffered with one or both except one old gent that wasn't saying anything. Finally he spoke up and said " I sleep like a log all night then come 5am, like clockwork I completely drain my bladder and have a bowel movement". Everyone stared in amazement, then one said "man you are lucky,do you have any kind of problems"? "Only one" the old gent replied."I never get out of bed until some time after 6."

One old guy about my age gave me some advice. "Never pass up a bathroom and never trust a fart." There was a third part to that but I don't want to get into trouble on the forums.

Speaking of old men, tractors and advice. Several years after my neighbor's wife passed away he remarried and was doing well with one exception. Operating his tractor sometimes aroused him but by the time he made his way to the house the feeling had vanished. I suggested he keep his shotgun with him and when he felt frisky bust off a couple shots to alert his wife so she could meet him half way. Later on I asked if the plan worked. He said it was working great until dove season opened.

A little project today made me think of this thread.

I wouldn't be inclined to spray the impellor housing of my snowblower with anything but a rattle can. Will be scraped off in a couple uses anyway. Way things are with a stone driveway.

Like others said - Rustoleum Tractor & Implement is the go-to. Color looks a little dark in the photo, but that’s fresh and wet when pictured.

Was kind of surprised this morning when I saw the $14.99 price at Tractor Supply. 😳

Have also used the Chevy Engine Orange enamel in the past with good results.

I'm not setting up and cleaning an air sprayer for a touch up. Got better things to do with my time.

Maybe others don't, or they just like to talk.

Amazon is expensive on this paint also.

Walmart has Rustoleum Farm & Implement paint for $6.98 a can but they didn't have the Kubota color when I looked, just JD green, JD yellow, IH red, and gloss black.
