Potential buyer (PB) of my M9960 ROPS model wishes to use it for, among other things, auger operation.

I have already determined that the engine can be started while not in the operator's seat and that the PTO can also be engaged while not in the seat in response to PB's inquiries.

Informed PB that annoying beeper beeps (indefinitely?) when operator leaves seat with PTO operating or when engaging PTO while not in seat.

Cannot find in manual any procedures regarding stationary PTO operation, though can find such in manuals of my other Kubota models.

Yes, could find and disconnect beeper but would rather not do so. Could also find and short out operator presence switch, but again, prefer not to do so.

Anyone know if stationary operation of PTO without operator in seat can be done without annoying beeping?

Not interested in safety related comments.

Thanks, in advance.

On most models you flip the seat up to keep it from stopping operation.
Is it possible on yours?
