M9960 engine stops

Baling hay 5 by 6 engine stops going uphill. Changed fuel filter and water separator still happens

Tractor seems to run out of fuel engine stops. Happens randomly no warning usually uphill. Changed filter and water separator .

I had a similar situation. What it turned out to be was a glob of grass at the bottom of the fuel tank that was pretty much plugging the outlet hose.

This was on a Deutz. I removed the fuel line and fished out the bottom of the tank. Let a little fuel run. Reinstalled line (had already installed new filter) and it ran fine.
