I have a 1999 m9000 4x4 with loader. I just started hearing a snaping noise in the area of thr right front as the tractor is moving. It appears that it happens with every revolution of the tire and in about the same place.
I first thought it was loose lug nuts because of the creaking sound. I tried to tighten them but they were all tight.
I DONT HAVE A SERVICE MANUAL BUT I WS ABLE TO DOWN LOAD A PARTS LIST AND ISUSPECT A BAD BEARING.

ANYONE HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS PROBLEM??

edl, welcome to OTT!
Sorry that a problem brought you here, but hopefully someone will have insight for you, and you stick around. It is a great group of people.
I would stop using it, before more damage is incurred. It sounds like bearings or a gear problem. What's the gear oil look like?

Have you inspected the wheel to make sure it doesn't have a crack either in the center disc or the outer where the tabs are welded on. I'm just trying to think of the simple things first. You'll have to take the wheel off before you tear into the front end so I would inspect it then.
