M8200 will not turn over

I have a M8200 that will not turn over when you turn the key. It just clicks under the instrument panel. I have tested the battery and it's fully charged. Also, have tried to jump the tractor with no luck.

Any ideals on where to start at trouble shooting the problem?

Will it turn over if you jump between the positive starter wire (battery cable) and the small solenoid terminal?

yep, on then end of the solenoid

Rentthis is pointing you in the right place - this will determine IF starter/solenoid is good or not, and then you can backtrack from there.

I would suggest turning the key and moving the pto lever a bit or the hst lever (if it has) and anything else that has a safety device.

Be sure tractor trans is in neutral before shorting across starter solenoid!!!!!!!!!

Check all 4 battery cable connections to be sure they're clean & tight.

You're very welcome. Many people have been killed or disabled from jumping across tractor starter solenoid. One can never be too cautious!!!!!!!!
