Ok I think I've purchased a M7040suhd "waiting on approval". The differences and cost cutting on this model is what I would like to know. Heres what I "think" I know of.
cheaper seat, no floor mat, less a few front marker lights, R28 rear bias,(paid the extra for R30 with cast wheel), no telescopic 3pth arms, but one big differences I've noticed is that the rear lift arm mechanism is internal vs external cyl doesn't take a genius to see this, but the rear end axles and housing are different part numbers, brake parts, ect. My long winded question is this, is the rear end on the econo model weaker, or inferior to the standard M, or is this just an older rear end design from a previous model?
Thank you

I wouldn't say it's inferior design, just lighter.

It's all relevant to what your uses of the tractor will be.

If you want it to pick up a really heavy implement then yes it matters.

is it that much lighter the main rear axle bearings r the same and the axles are only 2 lbs different in weight? or are you talking about the lift power (capabilities)? thanks
