M7040 Compressor Failure?

I ordered a complete kit from ACPARTSGUYS. Decided to just do it all once and be done, hopefully! I went ahead and upgraded to the piston style compressor. Everything is here except for the condenser which should be here today. All for about the same price as what compressor would cost from Kubota!
Did the new compressor come with a full charge of PAG oil for your specific tractor or do you have to add oil? Too much oil in system can reduce performance; too little can destroy the compressor.
Several wags have been made so another shouldn't hurt. I suggest you either test and confirm that pressure switch is good or simply replace it if cost is reasonable. System must be dry of refrigerant before replacing switch so best do it now than later if it's bad. My reasoning is that by-passing low pressure switch is one of the most common things people do when their ac stops cooling. 100 lbs on both gauges tells us without doubt that system only has a couple drops if any refrigerant. It isn't unheard of but it would be unusual for refrigerant to leak out and compressor burn out at same time. That's what makes me suspicious that ac stopped cooling because refrigerant got low and pressure switch failed or previous owner by-passed switch forcing compressor to run on and melt down. Those swabs would indicate compressor running on long after lo pres switch should have cut it off. My 2 cents,use them as you prefer.

Please forgive me, I didn't recognize the switch amongst parts and mistook metal lines in background as a lawn chair. But you did say everything and that would include switch and metal line it screws into. Glad you have everything under control.

I’m not replacing the lines, just flushing them
