M6800 Power/Fuel Issue

Started cutting hay today with my M6800 and checked all fluids and okay but did have to fill hydraulic fuel about 1/2 gallon until veiwed on dipstick (with FEL all the way up). Cut for about 3-4 minutes no problem and then power started falling off like fuel was being starved. Messed with the fuel lines.... force fed into injectors and verified fuel was circulating.... same result cut for a while then bogged down. Went throught the bleed air procedure and same result. Just changed fuel filter late last fall so that should be good but haven't done anything with water separator bowl. I do see fuel level fluctuations in the bowl...not sure this is normal. I did have to put another gallon of hydraulic fluid in but don't see any leaks. Not sure why I would see fluid on the dipstick and then have to add another gallon later. Appreciate any ideas and assistance. Thanks!

Check the motor oil as a blown pump seal will move hydraulic fluid to the engine.

After sitting all night the oil dipstick looks normal. So the fluctuation in the fuel water separator bowl is normal? For some reason I'm wanting to think it should always be full.???? The fuel is the same I run in my ZD326S and BX2230 with no issues. Feels like trying to find needle in haystack. I'm going to look at air filter and try bleeding air again but I'm shooting in the dark.

Check to be sure fuel tank is venting. I once owned a M4900 that acted similar to your tractor on loss of power. There was a small screen in water separator fuel cut-off valve that was clogged. Cleaned screen then engine ran fine.

It's most likely as Tx Jim said, it's got a clogged vent or a clogged, tank output, line, fitting, or input to the water separator, as yes it should always be full. ;)

TX Jim and NIW you guys rock! I've been mowing hay since 3......that shutoff on the water separator had a half bale of hay in it ;) and it ran like new after a cleaning! That's the first line of defense from the tank so it make sense to look there. Thanks! Thanks! Thanks!
