Need help getting chains on my m6060. Chains I have had in past I've just laid down & rolled on. These are ice pick chains that are circle shaped. Anyone have experience using? Do I need to jack up my tractor? Would appreciate any help. Thanks.

There should be a quick link on them that opens.
Ice chains do not have the same kind of tensioners as normal chains and must be fitted to the tire.

Maybe try letting some air out of the tire to gain some wiggle room.
It's nice having bungie cords to keep the chains from sliding all over the place. Nothing worse than losing "progress" during the process.
You can also use a come-along to secure the ends to each other and spin the wheel. Jacking a tire up is a good idea.

If those chains are the same as mine which I think they are there should definately be a quick link, actually mine has two on each side directly across from where the side chain is linked together. I didn't know it was there either the first time I put them on. Lets just say it's so much easier to install them with the quick links off.
