There is 2 styles of flat face couplers one style will allow you to hook up with pressure on the lines the other won't.
If they will not go together then your might have the latter, also some have a lock on the collar so check that.
To get it to relive the pressure crack a line fitting to get it to bleed the pressure off, only a very small amount of fluid will come out.

At what point are you having issue w/ pressure? Is your accessory building pressure or is it the machines lines? Hook your accessory lines together when off the machine, as far as the tractor, just work hydros w/ it off. If you've wired the switch to the ign, just turn the key to on.

Dang you're exactly right, didn't think about it that way!;)
Some of the posts lately .... ..... the one where someone's machine got harder to start as the temp continued to fall, because they didn't have a clue about pre-heating. I wanted to tell them they need to immediately call the dealer to pick the machine up and put it back on the lot.

The bad news is his machine had numerous deadly issues, the good news is that the cause of all of them turned out to be directly between the seat and steering wheel.

I guess he assumed all of the important points of the machine were on a sticker. I'm beginning to feel there needs to be a required course with accompanying test that follows before the keys are handed over.

As per the original poster....I discovered how to relieve pressure first by getting a mineral oil shower :D

Tried hooking the plow lines together, that didn't work ,then I shut the tractor off worked the joy stick to relive pressure on the tractor ,then turned the key on and hit the toggle switch back and fourth and still couldn't get the plow lines
hooked ?...
