First go at this. I have a 1999 M5400. Installing a BH 2425QT loader. So far so good. At the point to hook up hydraulics. Not able to rotate the valve between the pressure and power beyond lines. This is the screwdriver slot. It won't budge. Any help or what is my next step?

Try rotating the valve with the tractor running and then off.
Sometimes if it's never been rotated it's going to be stuck pretty good, I have taken an old screw driver and hit it while turning to get it to break loose.

What does turning the screwdriver slot do? I also have an m5400 and we are trying to install and older loader on this tractor. We got the loader working "somewhat" but its not working correctly. When trying to raise the loader we have to pull up on the remote lever. We hooked it up exactly as the diagram shows but we feel like were missing something.
