Oh my your not going to like my next answer...
Hook to what? Factory loaders do not use any of the factory hydraulics to run the loader. They use a complete separate hydraulic system, including a remote tank and remote pump.
See I told you that you wouldn't like my answer.;)

Ok where do I get one of those and how much,
The valve has 3 ports----one in, one out, and another. What does that extra port on the valve need to hook to?

Is it possible that the older machines don't connect the same, the kit I got looks like it just plugs into the main pump, has the hoses and everything

The kit you got works for a LA1251 Loader and a M8200, M9000 tractor.

The problem with your M7950 is that the hydraulic reservoir is too small to use it for a loader and the factory hydraulic pump is too small to properly run a loader.
If you look at the schematic that I sent it's got a separate pump and reservoir, it's what your going to want to do to run it right.

Normally you would be able to just tie into the factory hydraulics and run it, it's just they didn't put big enough of either one on your tractor.
If you tie into the tractors hydraulics you could cause operational issues with the hydro, and steering!

Sorry but I find it hard to read the diagrams some times
What do I have to do to make this work, and how do I power the pump

Again Sorry for all the questions

You got a Valve kit for a completely different set up.
If you look at the PDF file that I posted it's the right kit for your tractor.
it a M1840 kit not a M1881 kit.
The valve kit you got is fine it's just that you don't have the reservoir tank, filter, pump, or lines that you need for the loader to work properly.

I can break down the M1840 kit down and tell you what parts your going to need to add to make the M1881 Valve kit you got work for you.

I know what your saying about hooking up to the tractors hydraulics, you can normally do that with Kubota tractors, it's just your model that they have not set it up to run a loader too, I couldn't tell you their logic behind that.

Just get the pump kit that runs off the front of the crank, 25GPM is a good size for what you need.
The valve kit you got will work very well, you just need a reservoir tank and a pump.

I talked to a dealer and they said they just splice into the lines, he did one this summer said it took 2 or 3 hrs to hook up.

Does that sound right??

Also was reading another post about upgrading the pump is that something I could do also??
What type of pump does mine have??

Thanks Todd
