In your orange stuff, what lubes do you use? Gears, engine, axles, drive units etc?

Weights?

Intervals?

ETC.....

I typically use 15w40, of whatever brand has enough on hand for 3 machines in the engine. Napa, Supertech, Delvac.........thinking of running 10w30 though, maybe not

Drive unit in KX91......Mobilube 80w90

L2501 Front axle....still running the factory fill UDT2, but thinking on 80w90 or even 80w140 as the front axle has a bunch of stress at times.....I tend to pick up more than what I should.....even with a weight box in the back, I find that it wants to dolphin.

In my L35:

Coolant: Rotella ELC Antifreeze Concentrate

Oil: Shell Rotella T4 - 15W-40 Change yearly

Hydraulic: Tractor Supply Premium Universal (been in there about 4 years - still clean)

Grease: Mystic JT-6 Multipurpose #2 (before a job I check and apply as necessary)

Front Axle: Supertech or similar 80-90wt (Been in there about 4 years - changing this year)

Filters: Kubota (thinking of changing Hydraulic filter this year)


In my RTV-1140CPX (Just restored this machine in 2024)

Coolant: Rotella ELC Antifreeze Concentrate

Oil: Shell Rotella T4 15W-40

Hydraulic: UDT2

Grease: Mystic JT-6 Multipurpose #2 {On linkage joints etc as required)

Front Hubs: UDT2

Filters: Kubota

Change at half of what the manual calls for, except coolant.

Grease and oil! Doesn’t matter which to me (or my BX) going on 15 years and she has never let me down! Even has the original battery! Now I’ve gone and jinxed myself!

For now, I get my oil from the dealer. Don't want to chance a denial of warranty claim if needed. Once its paid off, will be looking at other options.

Crisps are "Chio" paprika flavour (imported from Germany). Beer is "Murphy's" Irish stout (strangely enough much cheaper in shops in the US than in Ireland). Interval depends on what is been written in this thread
