I've got a late 80's L2850 that I'd like to upgrade with a FEL. Tractordata.com lists a BF500 as the FEL for this tractor but finding one (in good condition) has proven futile. I haven't discussed at length with a dealer yet but does anyone know of a website or other way to find a compatible FEL make and model # that will fit? Is the LA500 the latest equivalent to the BF500? The tractor has the hydraulic block but I'll need everything else from the control box and hoses to the bucket.

Yes the LA500 is should be just an upgraded version of the BF500.
You could also look to other loaders to fit it, AO, Bush hog, Koyker, Quicke, Woods.
I have a Woods loader on mine, and it's actually built tougher than the Kubota loader.

Thx Wolfman. After my post I did end up contacting Woods and they gave me three versions that would fit. Whew $$$, hope I can find a used one!
