I'm having trouble with my L3830 Kubota tractor loader. load is running slow up and down but curling ok. What could it be?
Try to disconnect, clean and reconnect your raise and lower hoses and see if that fixes it. If not, try swapping the raise/lower hoses with the curl hoses. That should tell you if the issue is on the tractor side or the loader side.

I did the upper connections but will try the ones connected to the loader

I would try swapping them and see if the raise/lower works normally when connected to the curl ports. Also check if the curl is slow when connected to the raise/lower ports.

I had a similar issue with my B2650. Turns out my 3pt feedback was out of adjustment. Just throwing that out there, but I have no clue if your rig runs a similar hydro circuit.

I thinking that could be the problem. Did you adjustment it yourself? If so how did you do the adjustment.

Go here: http://kubotabooks.com/

I see the Workshop Manual (WSM) for the L30 series there (L3130-L5030). Should give you instructions on adjusting feedback rod. Should be pretty straightforward with the help of the WSM.

On mine the rod was broken. I did the replacement and rough adjustment and had my dealer tweak it when it was in for an unrelated reason. You want to make sure the pump doesn’t dead head at top of travel.
