HAHA well yea my dealer is like "ahh you don't need that" he probably talks me out of more stuff then he sells me. I wanted to buy a quick attach for my Land Pride Box (which he also tried to talk me out of) and he said they were more trouble then they were worth.

talk to sales rep, whole goods should have a kit that will be cheaper than buying individual parts at parts counter

Agreed. Individual parts cost more. You get a kit in the “whole goods” department. Shop a couple dealers though. One dealer quoted me $70 plus tax and wanted me to pay $20 shipping to THEM. Bought mine from the dealer I bought my tractor. $67 plus tax. Found YouTube video on how to put it on the LA525 loader. Some good tips. Went on in about 10 min. I had been talked out of it when I bought my tractor. Got it to help with my forks but found I really liked it on my bucket too. Very glad I got it.

I don’t have one, but I don’t see much use in them. Couple hours of seat time and watching the bucket you can see level pretty easy. YMMV.

Fwiw, I use my indicator usually when I’m on the move right after I’ve dumped the bucket. It’s easy to get it level no matter if I’m at ground level or 2 ft off the ground. Then, I’m ready when I get to the pile of dirt/gravel or ready to dig again.

Same here - dealer talked me out of it. After some seat time, I agree. Took me a bit but am now really good at eyeing it up. Give it a shot and you can always add it.

Trust me there are plenty of other things you may want more...

I took mine off after the first week. It rattles and is loud, more annoying than it's worth for me. It sits in a bucket with the rest of the parts I don't use.

I totally agreed with this. I have taken them off several loaders in the past and when I bought the MX-6000 a while back I didn't have one added to it. A little seat time and you will see where the bucket or forks are.

I don't have one. I just look at the top edge of my bucket. It is flat and parallel with the cutting edge. It makes it super easy to tell where I'm at and can be seen from just about anywhere. Same principal works with my pallet forks. The fork frame is flat on top. When I have the forks on the ground I can't always see the tips over the hood, but I can always see at least a little bit of the fork frame.

Really, louder than your engine?
Yep, a high pitched clanking rattle that you hear over the engine noise and the HST noise. Basically an aluminum bar rattling against an aluminum piece of flat stock which resonates thru the steel hollow loader arms. Took all of 2 minutes to remove and discard. If I want my bucket level, I look at it and make it level.

I don't have them but they are nice if you don't have a QH.

Like Fordtech and others mentioned:

When I got my little BX years ago, thought
sure a level indicator was a must have. Probably because they had one.

While I had experience before, just used common sense and observation. Level indicator wasn’t an option.

Quickly realized common sense and observation was sufficient…

I still don’t have one.
