Hi folks. New to forum. Great information so far!
I'm looking to put a new FEL on an old tractor. It's a 2006 L2800. It's in Bahamas, only 38 hours! Great tractor.

Does anyone know if a LA525 loader will match up to this tractor? Dealer telling me he can no longer get the LA463. I like the LA525 anyways. I just can't have any issues after shipping over there since no Kubota dealers around. Thanks guys!!!

The main frame of the Standard L has not changed much... After the switch from L2800/L3400 (intrum L3700SU) then L3200/L3800 ...the loader LA 463 was changed to the Kubota LA524; then things changed to L3301/L3901 with the Kubota LA525. I still don't think where the FEL bolts to the frame have changed.

Your dealer should know if this will work... my guess is it should.

PS. The LA463 and LA 524 has the same lift capacity, it's just measured from the pins now instead of 500mm (mid-bucket).

Buying the hydraulics too?

Ok great. Thanks. Yes, the bolt pattern appears the same, not 100% sure though. Would you recommend a LA524 or the LA525? Seems like the LA525 most easy to find plus quick attach is standard. Thx.

When you say hydraulics...is that the block connections? I'm not sure. I guess I should get those parts too. I can't have any issues over there with only my shade tree mechanics to figure it out!

I don’t know whats different between the 524 and the 525, but the quick attach isn’t standard. The mounting must be the same between the two because my L3200 has the 525 loader but its a pin on bucket.

Ok thanks. This dealer I went to didn't seem on top of things. I may need to talk to another dealer. Thank you.

Yes Hydraulics to operate the FEL... If you buy a Front End Loader, the hydraulics most likely will come with the kit (and normally the front brush guard, too). Again, a good dealer should know what's included and what it fits...

You don't want to buy "Parts" you want Whole Goods (in sales) to buy the FEL.

I went to another dealer. Worked with a young kid salesman. He knew his stuff. Assured me the LA525 will fit my tractor. He even called Kubota engineering to verify. Showed me the pallet with all the parts and hydraulics. He had me talk to a mechanic to get some advice for installation. I ordered a box blade too. I think I am all set up. Thanks for your feedback! Great discussion board!

I have the same issue you do. I have a Kabota L 2800 and I’m looking for a front in loader. How did the Kabota La 525 fit your L 2800. Thanks Sean

Unless you are in love with your current tractor, the best/most cost effect option usually, is to sell, and buy a different tractor, that already has a loader.
