I am wondering if a skid steer pallet fork attachment will connect to my Kubota m5140 loader. The skid steer the forks were used on a bobcat. The couplers look similar in the pictures on them, has anyone tried hooking up to one.
One thing to note: SSQA attachments can sometimes be too heavy for a tractor loader to use or use efficiently.
So size your attachments accordingly.
I have a set of SSQA forks that are almost too much for my L but they work great on my Bobcat!
There are light duty SSQA pallet forks made from tubing that are stronger than the machines can handle in lift capacity without the added weight and cost of a set made of solid steel.
I got a set from Titan brand new shipped to my door for under $300
I also ended up with light duty forks for my L4060. 2000lbs is light duty for a skid steer, but slightly exceeds the capacity of my fel. SSQA attachments for fels is an evolving market, so I expect to see more options being developed. I believe even the new (2017) bx series tractors are coming with standard ssqa on the FEL.
