Wasn’t sure what to title the thread, but the pics below explain what I’m talking about. I’ve not abused, banged or done much with the loader other than handle rolls of hay. Any ideas what may be causing this and is it a potential long term issue? The other side is not wearing like this at all. Thanks

Without seeing a parts diagram, I'd think someone didn't install a shim between the upper front pivot ?
hmm, maybe measure the gap at several places, on both sides, to see what is 'different' ?

Hadn’t thought of that, I’ll do that. Thanks

There have been several pictures of recent loaders where the edges of loader arms are rubbing - likely just slight inaccuracy of weldments in manufacture. Probably won't cause future problems - it may just "wear in", with the rubbing force getting less with age and use.

To put your mind at ease watch it move with and without a load. Having a helper operate the lever, you'll see if what's contacting what and when. Of course if there's a lot of unexpected motion there may be a broken weld somewhere that should be properly repaired. Dick B

Agreed!
Most likely a shim washer is missing

Dealer should be able to get you new front quick attach plate, and links. There was a weldment issue on la805.

Thanks all! I did look today and there is a difference from side to side in the gap, or shim space, on the loader joints if you will. I’m going to call my dealer tomorrow and see what they say. I’d honestly like these pieces/parts replaced but I’ll see what they say and update. Thanks again!

I am having the same issue on my L3560 with LA805 loader. Is there a recall or special policy that covers this? Is Kubota stepping up for the repair?
Thanks
Scott

Cant speak for your dealer, but it has been a known issue. But, consider right now people are waiting 7months plus for a new la805. So who knows how willing they will be to help. I believe it is in the skid plate. The link is casualty to its missalignment. I suggest if you get new parts shim appropriately with arbor shims. Tractor supply has a arbor shim pack that would be your cheapest alternative.

Dealer said they’ve seen a few like this in the last year or so. They told me to bring it in and they’d replace the parts under warranty. They weren’t specific as to what part/parts they’ll replace, but that they’ll fix the issue. My local dealer is great and thankfully I haven’t had to use them much!
