Left brake locked m9960

Was driving down the road and all of a sudden the left brake locked up. Let it set for a couple hours and it had released, made it about a hundred yards and happened again. When it happens the left pedal is hard as can be but the right one is fine. Anybody have any idea

Is the parking brake on? I think that only works on the left pedal

It is. No parking brake on M9960.

The first thing that I would do is bleed the brakes.

We had a mid 80’s Ford TW-35 that used to do something similar, very occasionally. If you quickly hit the pedal with a quick jab, it would release and not bother for a long time. I am not sure why yours is doing it, but you might try that maneuver, to get by until you get it sorted out.
