I run a Woods 5' with gauge wheels on my BX23. This is the model for a sub compact, not a full size one. I have been very pleased with it. Not sure if they make them any longer or not.

I would suggest the 5 footer too, any smaller with a rake, you are wasting time, depending on WHAT you want to rake, you might be able to pull a 6 footer

I was wondering if a six-footerwould be too big? tractor supply has them stacked up but no five Footers in stock.

i run a LR1672 from Landpride and it works well on the driveway, just added gauge wheels for my driveway project. I like being able to angle and windrow out the rocks to the side then pull the clean back to the center for the crown.

How does the bx handle the 5' rake? Would it handle more? Do you wish you had a 6'?

My BX23 handles the 5' just fine. No problems. Would it handle a 6'? Probably for most applications, but I have had no reason to ever wish I had a wider one. At full angle it still covers my tracks. For me, that's all that matters. Plus I am able to get into areas I couldn't with a 6'.

Thanks. I found a Tractor Supply Store that just happens to have a 5 footer in stock. I guess normally they do not carry them in my area. I am going to get it tonight.

I have never tried to turn mine around backwards since I have the gauge wheels on mine. I guess you could reverse it before you hook it to the tractor.
I just added the gauge wheels, that might make a difference. Now I have to plan, nice to have a QH if I need to drop it to turn around.

I think the gauge wheels are worth it on a BX and 1/4" valving. Would guess less of a need with position control. It worked well to level the driveway in prep for the class 5.

Let me know if they are worth getting.
I wish I had not purchased mine so far. Time will tell. But the landscape rake itself has been very useful in collecting unearthed roots, picking trash and rubble from dewberry and briar patches, pushing up brush piles, etc.
