Land Pride SB1051 leveling?

Sorry to post another chat about this snowblower, but I am really confused by the instructions within the owners manual (page 16 - https://cdn-assets.greatplainsmfg.com/ari/attach/lp/public/manuals/370-027m.pdf)

It says to level the blower, simply adjust the top-center-link until its level, but no where does it state what position the blower should be in, or how far down the blower should sit when you drop the hydraulic lever to the min height. I bring this up, as we got snow today, and when I went to use the blower, it kept wanting to stick and jump, stick and jump unless I raised it off the ground (leaving quite a bit of snow behind). I did the level of the blower with the PTO shaft at level - bottom of the blower was 4-5" up (didn't measure, just eyeballing), and it does seem to sit level once it touches the ground, but there is still more room to the 'bottom' of the hydraulic 3-point hitch, so its difficult to get the blower right at the exact spot - either jumping, or leaving snow. I kind of gave up after 10 or so passes, and grabbed my walk behind snowblower to complete the task. I have read, reread and read the manual again, and tried finding any other resources on this topic (videos, other forums, etc.) and not seeing anything. Maybe I'm doing something wrong (likely), so just looking for some guidance. The blower does have outer skid shoes attached, so I assumed it would be just drop it down and away I go.

I did call and talk to a mechanic at Land Pride (forget the parent company's name), and they said they recommend leveling the snowblower just above ground level, and you will indeed have further to go, to the 'bottom' of the hydraulic arms, and to try as best you can, to keep it at or just above the ground. I have made an adjustment to the 'level', instead of doing so with the PTO shaft level, I did it with the implement on the ground, I will report back, in case there are any others in this same situation.

Yes you level to the shoes on the bottom of the blower, the PTO drive shaft plays no role in leveling the blower.

I set my SB1064 to be level (fore-aft) when it's sitting with the shoes on the ground, and left-right when just off the ground. I almost always run it with the 3PH lowered all the way so the weight of the blower is on the shoes.

I am not familiar with any "jumping" behavior. Are you shoes/skids tilted the wrong way and sticking into the ground?

It's jumping on him because the front is digging in.

I have the fixed stabilizer arms (https://www.messicks.com/part/k2561-38300fr/telescopic-stabilizer-kit-kubota-bx-series), and both are on the same hole, so, left/right it is very even and very stable. I have adjusted the top-link to be level when the lever is all the way down (and all hydraulic pressure is relieved), when I drop the implement to the ground, its at about a -3° slant, until I continue to hold the level down and all pressure has been released, then its at 0°. We don't have more snow in the forecast until Friday, so I'll see what that adjustment made. And yeah, the jumping seemed to be from the 'front' very far rear, of the blower digging in, then jumping up, while traveling backwards, maybe two inches of ground coverage (rinse, repeat). That was before I made the adjustment (I originally leveled the implement when the PTO shaft was at level - 4-5" above the ground).
