Model PD35. Small problem with the driveshaft sleeve. At some point the sleeve popped free of the housing at the gearbox end. Anyone know the trick to reseat it? It is just a thick plastic tube that guards the driveshaft from snagging clothing while rotating and probably helps keep dirt out of the inner/outer driveshaft juncture. It has alternating square and rectangular holes that mate with matching teeth on the housing and there is no just pushing it back in place. I can supply a pic if needed. Thanks...

The driveshaft splits in half at the middle. Maybe pull the shaft appart and see if you can put the plastic shield back in place that way.

Minor problem. They usually mate with a push in and a twist to lock or they have a little plastic "key" that turns 90 degrees with a flat screwdriver to lock. Likely, it will only go together one way. check the pattern on the tabs to make sure you are lined up on the locking ones.
