I am getting a L2501 with a LA525 Loader. Just watched a video on youtube of a L2501 with a LA524 installed which I think is a new tractor. Why would a new L2501 have a LA524 Loader installed? Is the LA525 the replacement loader for the LA524? He is link to the video.

Because Kubota wanted a new loader to go with the new tractor. The 524 is basically the same thing with a few minor differences. The 525 will fit the old L3200/L3800 just fine just as the LA524 will also fit the L2501 and L3301/L3901. Some dealers stocked up on LA524's and maybe they sold a 2wd tractor without a loader (which, IMO, is worthless) and had a loader left over, so they stuck them on the L01 series to get them moved.
