Hello all. I’ve recently had our local dealer install a rear remote on my L5240. I hooked up a round baler to test the new remotes. At first it seemed fine as the rear gate was lifted easily. Upon closing the gate, it was incredible slow and started leaking hydraulic fluid out of the remote valve block. Took it back to the dealer and they found no problems. Brought it home, same thing, but I took a video and sent it to the dealer. They’ve responded wanting to know the model and brand of the baler and then went quiet. I’ve attached the picture to this post. While I know you should not dead head hydraulics and I don’t on purpose, but you can make the leak happen by dead heading the remote in either direction.
i would assume a pressure relief valve would release before it leaks. Any ideas? Thanks.
